大陸廣東省計劃修建全長1600公里，連接14個城市、90個景點的濱海公路，一旦落成後，該公路會是全球最長的連續近岸濱海公路。當局估計項目首投規模達1300多億人民幣（約台幣6,029億元），以帶動5500億人民幣（約台幣6,029億元）的濱海旅遊市場。
被譽為「南海鑲邊、嶺南絲路」的濱海公路，東起福建省漳州詔安縣鐵爐崗，西至廣西省北海合浦縣白沙鎮，串聯湛江、茂名、陽江、江門、珠海、中山、廣州、東莞、深圳、惠州、汕尾、揭陽、汕頭、潮州等14城市沿海地帶。其中湛江段總長500多公里，占其1/3。
濱海公路的興建焦點主要落在湛江段，其具體路線方案已於今年4月上報廣東省交通運輸廳，希望能趕在「十三五」期間將規畫建設，湛江段湛江市政府要求於2018年前動工。
另外，整條濱海公路除了盡可能靠近海岸外，全線貫通投用後，長度將會超過900多公里的「加州一號公路」，成為全球最長的連續近岸濱海公路。除作為車行系統的主車道，公路兩側還將設包括綠道在內的慢行系統，靠海的外側設景觀視域帶。

蘋果新機發表會將在台灣時間明（13）日凌晨一時登場，日前有外媒報導指出，此次蘋果將推出三款新機，其名稱確定為 iPhone 8、iPhone 8 Plus 和 iPhone X。而分析師郭明錤也預估，「3D 感測」功能將會是此次蘋果新機發表值得注意的一大重點。
據外媒《9to5Mac》與《CNBC》報導指出，凱基投顧科技業分析師郭明錤認為，OLED 版 iPhone 的3D 感測是否能提供使用者新體驗，值得關注。並點出3D 感測初期應用的兩項關鍵，分別為：成功的臉部辨識功能、是否能改善自拍品質。
郭明錤說，若要使消費者相信臉部辨識功能是實際可行的，那蘋果就得在發表會上展示流暢、便利安全的使用流程；而 3D 感測若能為使用者帶來新的使用經驗，那將會影響蘋果股價與蘋果概念股的表現。
此外，《彭博》也曾在七月初引用知情人士說法，指出蘋果目前正針對安全機制進行改進，讓用戶能透過臉部掃描登入 iPhone、Apple Pay 支付認證，以及啟動安全應用，據悉新版 iPhone 的臉部解鎖將比指紋掃描記入更多數據點，較 Touch ID 更加安全。
